What is the difference in the quality of DVD video to progressive scan versus Player?
I have an HDTV and looking for new DVD player. How does the image quality on a DVD player with progressive scan compared with one of the new HDMI DVD players? Is that the HDMI does produce almost HD quality? Is it worth the extra $ 100-200 for the player and the special cable? Thank you!
Progressive scanning refers how the image is displayed. The image is non-interlaced, which offers quality sharper image and is not directly related HDMI to HDMI is the video link. HDMI is a high definition results provided by some DVD players, especially high end. HDMI output Fully digital still preserves the image quality. The competitor DVI to HDMI which is similar in that it also displays an all-digital signal. There two types of HDMI, Type A is backward compatible with DVI, HDMI Type B is designed to support image resolutions greater than 1080p, which is where most HDTVs Max. Essentially what I'm saying is that progressive scanning is how the image is displayed and the HDMI signal Release the two combined together, provide the best image quality. Whether you use DVI or HDMI is of almost no consequence, but you must decide one or the other (or whichever one is supported on your TV). Let me try Again, any DVD player equipped HDMI output support progressive scan and same goes for a player who has a DVI video connection. Yes, it is worth the extra cables and drive prices.

Will replacing the filter media because of my new tank to cycle?
I have a whisper 20 power filter with filter media regular that you can put carbon in a sponge, then slipping it also comes with it. My Media filter seems to be restricting the flow of water though I rinsed. Since I will not replace the sponge on the tank to cycle again?
Your tank has other elements in that environment will remain stable - for example, if you have gravel, said gravel has a good dose of bacteria keeping biological environment healthy. replacement of filter media is recommended after a certain time has passed - just make sure they are clean before using. Normally what I do is clean my filter (sponge and other) water from the reservoir itself - thus ensuring I do not accidentally add chlorine in the filter. I naturally after cleaning my filter with some change of the water tank. You may also want to check your filter elements for obstructions - just be careful in dismantling the removable parts and clean them using water as Well tank. Apart from that, you may want to try using other filters - Filters cerramic are also good to use. Peat can ba bilogical a natural filter - well it turns your brown water. Bottom line is after one semester, it would be a good idea to change some of your content filter ... After all, charcoal can also get past. The sponge is more durable, and you do not have to replace it until it looks really dillapidated. But I would not worry too much about your filter tank having harmful effects on your fish after cleaning. But to be on the side safe, make sure you do not fish very sensitive or Frys. To mitigate the impact of change, try to make sure you do not change not more than 10% of your water. This opinion is gathered from the experience with a Fluval filter, and I want to thank some noble fish were sacrificed their lives to teach me some lessons on cleaning the filter tank - do not worry, there were no victims too.
