What is the difference in the quality of DVD video to progressive scan versus Player?

I have an HDTV and looking for new DVD player. How does the image quality on a DVD player with progressive scan compared with one of the new HDMI DVD players? Is that the HDMI does produce almost HD quality? Is it worth the extra $ 100-200 for the player and the special cable? Thank you!

Progressive scanning refers how the image is displayed. The image is non-interlaced, which offers quality sharper image and is not directly related HDMI to HDMI is the video link. HDMI is a high definition results provided by some DVD players, especially high end. HDMI output Fully digital still preserves the image quality. The competitor DVI to HDMI which is similar in that it also displays an all-digital signal. There two types of HDMI, Type A is backward compatible with DVI, HDMI Type B is designed to support image resolutions greater than 1080p, which is where most HDTVs Max. Essentially what I'm saying is that progressive scanning is how the image is displayed and the HDMI signal Release the two combined together, provide the best image quality. Whether you use DVI or HDMI is of almost no consequence, but you must decide one or the other (or whichever one is supported on your TV). Let me try Again, any DVD player equipped HDMI output support progressive scan and same goes for a player who has a DVI video connection. Yes, it is worth the extra cables and drive prices.

What is the difference between an LCD HDTV with 720p and 1080p?

What is the difference between a Vizio LCD-HDTV with 720p and 1080p? I look to buy the 32 in 720p.

You would have to sit 6 feet or less from your 32 "TV to see the difference between 720 and 1080 in terms of resolution. See the table below ... http://s3.carltonbale.com/resolution_chart.html

How to clean LCD laptop with cleaning materials at home?

Thank you for reading my message. Is there a safe way to clean laptop LCD without buying specific hardware stores computer? I mean with the house clealing materials as deterjents, etc. Thanks

Many devices today have high end monitors have delicate coatings that require care special. The layers and external coatings of LCD (liquid crystal display) and plasma screens are very vulnerable to damage caused by scratches, smudges and clouding caused by the use of common household cleaners. The manufacturers of LCD and plasma specifically recommend against the use of household cleaners since ammonia and alcohol in them can actually remove the layer anti-reflection causing visible damage to the screen. The Safe & effective solution for cleaning LCD & Plasma: Digital Innovations has developed a complete product Cleander line with UltraClear ™, an all-natural surfactant (cleaning agent) without risk of compromising the delicate screen coatings or scratch the screen sensitive surfaces. Many products have Cleander process wet / dry dust of the improvement, and dirt removal oil with a scratch-free, non-glare finish to the screen today. Cleaning wallpapers are available in Cleander many different sizes ranging from a 0.5 oz bottle ($ 4.99) to 8 ounces bottle ($ 19.99), all available to you http://www.digitalinnovations.com can learn more about the nuts and bolts of cleaning screen, under the link to White Papers http://www.digitalinnovations.com Thanks! ~ The Digital Innovations Team ~ # 1 selling Disc Repair Solution on the Market

What is the best way to connect an HDTV, DVD recorder and set top box?

Here is what I have to work with: 1. HDTV with an HDMI input 2. Cable box (DVR built in) with an HDMI out 3. Upconverting DVD player / recorder - with HDMI out each other piece of standard inputs and outputs. I want to make sure I have the best HD picture quality with the ability to record Off My DVR to my DVD recorder. What would be the best way to hook this up without having to invest in more equipment? I'm ready to buy necessary cables, but not an AV receiver or "other" type of gadget. Help Help.

You can not save (or reading) high definition of existing DVD on any DVD. So you're best off connecting the DVR to the TV with the HDMI connection. Component Video Used to connect the DVR to DVD recorder and DVD recorder to the TV. You'll always get a good (but not HD) DVD recordings.
