Region Blu

Region Blu
1 region can Blu-ray will play on the PS3 60GB PAL Region 2?

I bought a PS3 60GB PAL Region 2 here in Kuwait .. after I bought online a Blu-ray. Without my conscience that Blu-ray is region code 1 and its too late for me to cancel his case already shipped.

It depends if the movie is just produced in region 1, region or it is locked to region 1. If not locked, you will be able to play. If it is, there is a slight possibility that you can pass the lock of the region through the disc in, and pressing triangle to skip the menu. It works for movies from New Line Cinema. However, you should not rely on this work 100% of the time, because Sony could correct this defect.

Portable Tripod

Portable Tripod
small tripod to handheld?

I have a Sony camera that can also be used to record video, and I want to be able to join on my paintball gun somewhere on the barrel. I am aware of the product called "gorilla grip" or "Gorillapod 'and I am looking for something like that, but more of a clasp to be attached to the camera, then can bind to any other object. ideas or product names is appreciated.

Stick with the grip of a gorilla, it has at least a little "shock absorption", if you mount it drive of your camera, the rate will drop all round! Then use something like a "U" bracket for attaching a sheet of polycarbonate plastic your cannon to protect your camera. And put layers of "screen saver typing something more if you can rip one after the other off, and not have to erase every time you shoot it! And, yes, I know what you want. And he could easily design, but I try to suggest how you could do that! IM me if you want more details

What is the best way to record on VHS to DVD?

I bought a DVD / VHS combo to connect to my TV / VHS Combo. My plan was to play in the VHS combo TV while recording on DVD in the DVD / VHS Combo. My son says he thinks that this does not work and / or they are of poor quality. What do you think? Does anyone know of stores nationwide (like Circuit City, etc.) that could do this kind of thing ... Transfer VHS to DVD?

Yes, what you describe should work exactly as it does to make a copy band, but the DVD will be as good as the cassette. It will not get any better. If the tape is of poor quality, so if you the DVD. Cables high quality! connecting audio and video, not the antenna connections. Your son is on one thing, if you use the antenna connectors on 2 VCRs it degrades the quality of the copy than to use audio and video inputs and outputs. I seem to remember having seen this service offered at my local Rite-Aid.

What should I look for when buying a cheap projector for an entertainment center at home?

Search for a projector for Home Entertainment (TV / Cable, etc.) and trying to decide what to look for a cheap projector.

If you want High Definition, but you do not want to spend the Big Bucks, looking for a 720p-capable unit. 720p is "officially" HD, but this is not the big hype (Not a great old word "hype"?) 1080p, then 720p projectors will be much cheaper and still give you great results, especially If your goal size of the projected image will not be as large (80 inch 16:9 Diagonal size will 720p awesome, by the way). But more specifically your question, if HD is not what you are looking for and you just want a good SD (standard definition) image: 1. Stay away from "data quality "lights. They are always cheaper because they are mainly built for mobile sales PowerPoint presentations off of a laptop itinerant vendor. NO VIDEO! Many people buy these things and then wonder why the movies look so rotten on them. Because they do handful of videos of all time., So: 2. Look for a projector that boasts handling time video as well. Any InFocus 3 years that has the word "theater" in the name of the model will be a good value. Optoma is a series of DLP projectors in the past 4 years and is a good job. With DLP, you want to look at the RPM (revolutions per minute) of the color wheel. As soon as the spec reads a fact sheet, the better image (in terms of motion artifacts, no resolution, obviously) its going to have. Finally (but not "leastly") examine the kind of input it: If its just a XVGA, forget it. If it's just composite video (yellow-coded RCA Input) mention. If it's just composite and s-video ... ummm ... forget. You want the projector at least have some sort of component (Y / Pb / etc) "Red Green Blue" RCA inputs. If she has them, She has also S-Video, too. Good luck and let me know how it goes!

You need a RS232 port or something like material for a USB-RS232 and then you need software administration execute all this material you decide. Then you need the control codes to send the DVD player. To increase your chances that it will all work together, I decided the first material and get a PCI card with an RS232 port and then talk to the vendor and see what they recommend software to manage their cards the operating system you want to use. A simple Google search provides thousands of opportunities. http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&source=hp&q=rs232+card+pci&aq=0&oq=rs232+card&aqi=g7g-m3 Then you need to worry about control codes that you send. http://www.remotecentral.com/cgi-bin/mboard/rc-touch/thread.cgi?1455

How can I convert a PAL tape (DVD / VCR) NTSC or PAL DVD?

A friend sent me a VHS PAL England and have VCR NTSC ... I can see disturbing images (it `is because my VCR is NTSC), but I want to back up the Band my DVD recorder ... What can I do? Thank you.

You can not. Here in the UK, we can see NTSC tapes in most VCRs and TVs, but it is more difficult for you guys in NTSC land. You really need to pay a company that does video standards conversion or ask someone who has Intelligent software companies like Canopus. Bad conversion is really bad, but very good standard of conversion is costly and potentially complex.
