How do I connect my PS3 to my home theater and HDTV and my cable box to my HDTV?

Hi there. I'll buy tomorrow with Sony HDTV a home theater system and Sony PS3. I also have a cable box (not HD) at home that I use. So, I wonder what cables should I use and how do I connect (from what to what). I will use PS3 as a DVD player, but I want to connect to my system home theater. I also connect directly to cable TV decoder. Please help.

The PS3 can use a connector HDMI and non HD Cable Box may use the connection cable or connector AV 3 son depending on how you want to connect.

How do I get my iPod to play through the RCA jacks on the front of the 6-disc DVD changer in my caravan?

I have a Dodge Grand Caravan 2007 with the band, cd player and 6-disc DVD / CD changer. The DVD changer is equipped with RCA jacks on the front for video and audio. I cannot figure out how to get these audio jacks to play in the system. The manual says to select the AUX mode with the mode button, but all I get are ext-disk addition and Sirius Satellite AM / FM mode. I cannot seem to find a way TO. If anyone knows how to do this help please. Thank you

For a Cisco router statsu what is an interface of a manual to say.?

Is this the same as administrative or down Is it different. In my business one router interface or manually down and the other is administratively down. This manual is to say?

IIRC, I think manually downwards indicates that the interface has been reduced by an order of parking in other words, someone connected slaughtered manually and the interface. Administratively down would be one that was returned by the router itself from a script or during or after an update or other change of status.

How do I mount the speakers on the ceiling?

I pre-wired family room for home theater speakers. I the Omni Mont-hooks. The instructions supplied with the media are not very useful. I am looking for instructions / tips to attach the brackets. Images pointing to the ceiling mount would be useful. Basically, I am embarrassed to keep the plates that are made to hide the son .. Should I leave it there or not. If I remove plaster, holes for the screws is not aligned with the hooks. Here is what I think. 1. Keep the plate as it is. 2. Drill two holes in the existing plate to attach the brackets. 3. Drill another hole in the plate to take the son Out. Any help is greatly appreciated.

You can buy some wall plates terminals with easily attach your speakers or go with your plan. Just find a stud to attach the mount or purchase metal anchors that contain much weight. Drill a hole in your plate and h / u son. Regarding your media, attach one half to the speaker and the other half to the ceiling then attach to each other, hook, then your son.

Portable DVD?

Can anyone help with portable DVD players? Im thinking of getting my son for his birthday but Im not sure if are good. I have not heard much from them. screens are large enough to watch a DVD properly? Most of them seem be 7-8 inches. Im assuming they would work abroad? Is there something I should be looking for? I looked at the expenditure 150 pounds - 200 pounds of preference. Any help would be greatly appreciated

yes they work very well I've gotten for all of my friends and they work perfectly and the screen isn't too small.

Thinking of buying a Tivo Series 2 off Ebay w / lifetime service. Can you use one without having a cable box?

I do not have a cable box my cable company and curious, if you can connect a TiVo without. Are there many red flags to look for buying a used Tivo off eBay with lifetime service. I am looking for strong reactions and make sure they do not owe any bills.

Without a cable box, the TiVo will not go for the standard cable channels. This means that any what a cable box is necessary for (HBO, Cinemax, certain specialty channels usually on channel 99, etc.) can not be saved. Some Tivos will record 2 channels, some with one. Make sure there is a return policy if something seems funny and pay by credit card or PayPal so you can get your money.

How do I connect the cable TV to my projector if i don t have a receiver??

I want to know if there is anything of such an external TV Tunner that I can use.

The cheapest way is to buy a VCR. Hook your cable in VCR, then hook composite cables (the red wire, white and yellow) in the projector. If your projector has a composite input, as most of them, it should work like a charm.
