What is the best type of receptor for Series Acoustimass ® 10 Home Entertainment Speaker System III?

I think Bose has outputs regular speaker can not use any receiver. Listen to what you want, but I recommend you all is has at least 80 watts per channel to feed the Bose. Denon and Onkyo are both good choices if you intend to use new features such as HDMI. Personally, I recommend high-end components such as McIntosh, Classe, Rotel, Krell, but it is too much for the Bose, unless you plan to turn up speakers loud range too.

How do I transfer recorded programs from my Pioneer DVR-533 on my computer?

I recorded TV shows with my Pioneer DVR-533 and I would like to transfer them to my computer to remove the intro, Extro and advertisements. I thought I was can do this by burning them onto a DVD-RW and stored on the computer, but my computer keeps saying "Please insert the disk into drive "when I try to open the DVD content, even if I can play the DVD from an application that reads DVDs. I tried Both "VR Mode" and "Video Mode" (What's The difference anyway? ") and I get the same result.

There are two ways you can transfer the shows: 1. The way you were (unsuccessfully) to try. It sounds as if you were just putting DVD, then try to open it as you open a file. Before doing so, you need to burn the DVD. Common programs that can be understood, but are not limited to: Nero, DVD Shrink, DVD Decrypter, Rip It For Me, AnyDVD and DVD Ripper. Freeware editions of most of them are easy to find. 2. The 533 Pioneer DVR has many different outputs. If you have a capture card for your computer, run the cable to your S Video capture card and catch the show while playing on your recorder. You have to use a DVD authoring program to do this. Pinnacle Studio, Ulead VideoStudio and Adobe Elements Primere are common Capture / Editing / Authoring programs, but there are many others. Try trolling for freeware and see what you can unearth. I hope I was able to help.
